On the 6th of December 2023, within the project “Economic empowerment of vulnerable women (women at risk of, and women survivors of Gender-Based Violence) through targeted skills development”, which is being implemented by Association Udruženje “Žena BiH” Mostar with the support of Embassy of Ireland Ljubljana, a Round table was organized. It included members of the Coordination body for prevention, protection and combat against the domestic violence in HNC, representatives of other institutions that work on prevention of and combat against the violence, and the representatives of the Association “Zena BiH” Mostar.
This event also marked the global campaign “16 days of activism against gender-based violence” and the intention was to use this event to draw the attention onto the position of women, survivors of violence, as well as to educate the public about ways and mechanisms to achieve the human rights of all citizens, the survivors of violence included.
We are grateful for the support of Embassy of Ireland Ljubljana (The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ireland) and all the participants of today’s event for their active participation and contribution to the Round table; as well as for everything else they do on prevention of and combat against the violence, so that we all together help in creating safer B&H society for all of its members.
